Monday of my long weekend trip to Cornwall to visit Martin in Falmouth and for my first ever pilgrimage to the number one wavesailing beach in the country. The forecast for today suggested marginal float and ride in a decent groundswell and that's pretty much what we got. For the first hour I was reasonably powered up but mega-muppeting the wave selection and riding. Took a break when the wind dropped then went out again inspired by the many really good sailors still on the water "ripping it up". Session 2 was a bit better - waves were bigger and cleaner, still very much floating rather than planing on the way out but I had more success with the waveriding and caught a couple of OK ones.

Great to get out in a decent groundswell - some proper wavesailing at last. A shame about the wind marginality as with just a tad more it could have been a really good session.
